As Michael Taylor Wells' cousin, I thought I'd inform you that Michael passed away suddenly in 1984 at the age of 38.  We both graduated together! At the time of his death, he was a successful Music Teacher in San Jose! We have always missed him & just wanted you to remember him as we do!  Continue to RIP Mike!

Michael was a geat drummer, musician and a friend. He has not been forgotten and I do think of him even more every time I drive by his parents house.  He did leave us too soon. Thank you Marcia for keeping his memopry alive.

As my father was invovled in the local Shrine "Wrecking Crew" with Mike's father, our parents introduced us years before SHS.  Michael was a great friend, a wonderful drummer/precussionist, and just a good guy.  Demonstrating what a darn small world it is, I've lived in the South Bay since 1964, working quite near Campbell at West Valley College and never crossed paths.  I think I discovered Mike was teaching in Campbell but too late to catch up with him -darn it.

I do recall driving Mike home in my Model A from time-to-time and always was impressed his parents turned the living room into his percussion studio, with drum sets, xylophone, marimba and whatever else he could bang on to make music.

It does prove that it is never too late to reach out to those we cherish as friends, until it is too late and we kick ourselves for waiting too long.  We're all at that point, ya know....
