Bob was bigger than life. He had a great sense of humor and was very entertaining. He went to many reunions and events for our class. Bob will be missed, especially for our coming up events for our 60th. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carrie and his family. RIP Bob
So sorry to hear that Bob has passed. He was my first "boyfriend" in the 6th grade at Theodore Judah! We exchanged special valentines that year. In the years after that, at Kit Carson and of course at Sac High, he was larger than life. My sincere sympathy to Bob's wife and his family.
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I started with Bob at Theodore Judah then Kit Carson and of course Sac High. Later after graduation from high school, I ran into Bob he was then a Fireman for Sac Metro and retired as one. Bob was one of a kind and was a true friend to everyone. I know Pauline Campbell and myself can come up with some funny stories. My condolences go out to his family. RIP my friend.
Oh, no! I remember Bob attending our reunions, and one of my early memories of him came to me today: I think it was at Kit Carson--he wearing jeans and a white t-shirt, sleeves cut off at the shoulders, hair brushed up in front. He was always caring. His wife and family are in our prayers. Gary and Joanne
My deceased first husband Ed Moe went to Theodore Judah with Bob and enjoyed a close friendship with his parents. I went to Sac High with Bob and he was an usher in our wedding. Bob was a lot of fun. I send my condolences to his wife Carrie and sister Nancy and the rest of his family. Sincerely, Janet
I knew Bob since grammar school and he was the first person I knew that had a Sac Bee paper route when he was 8 or 9 years old. I used to fold papers with him and then when I got my own route next to his we folded papers together at his house on 45th St and then delivered on our individual routes. Sometimes after our early morning Sunday deliveries we would take a spin in his family pickup truck when we were about 12 years old. He was a good driver and East Sac was always quiet early Sunday mornings. We played little league baseball together and he was THE firecracker source in East Sac.
He contacted me before the 30th reunion and I went to my first one reconnecting with some really special classmates. We kept in touch until just a couple of months ago and was looking forward to seeing him & Carrie at the 60th reunion. I had gone out to their newly built home in Sutter County in 2016 to see their homestead as they really loved living in the rural area outside of Sacramento .
