ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hi fellow dragons,
It’s been a tumultuous last 4 months. In August, our daughter died. In September, the wonderful SHS reunion, followed a week later by my daughter’s memorial. (Thank you Dolly, Sonia, John, Barbara, Ellen and Kathy for being there to support me). I was just getting back to life at home, when my sister Barbara died a week before Thanksgiving. As trustee, I spent another month in Sacramento dealing with trustee issues. Needless to say, I felt like the grinch came here this Christmas.
I am writing to let all of you know that Barbara had the most wonderful care giver who came in each morning after she got her son off to school to fix breakfast and get Barbara ready for day. After lunch, she went home to be there when her son got home, she returned each evening to fix dinner and get Barbara ready for the night, you could not ask for a more devoted and wonderful care giver. She was also care giver for my brother in law a couple of years ago. If any of you know of someone in the Sacramento area who needs a care giver, please write back to me. I can’t praise her enough!
Needless to say, I will be happy to say goodbye to 2024 and hope that 2025 is a good one. I’m eating black eyed peas on January 1 for good luck in the new year.
Cathy (Rohwer) Luckett

Watch for your invitation for the 60th Reunion being sent out in July.  If your address has changed recently, please contact us so we can get you updated on the list. As it stands now, we won't be having any more big reunions like in the past, but we will still be getting together yearly in one way or another. Our funds will no longer be kept in an account and we will be notifying classmates via this website and word of mouth. Please keep your website current and let any of your high school friends know, especially if they are not on this site.

The reunion committee is working hard to make the 60th a special and fun time for all.  We are having a three day event like we did for the 50th.  Save the date cards have already been sent, if you did not receive one, let us know. Also, at this time in our lives we are experiencing a loss of our childhood classmates.  Our prayers go out to their families and friends.  Please stay safe and healthy and we look forward to seeing you in September..

Best Regards,

The Reunion Committee
