Who could forget those huge dimples Bertha always showed when she smiled? Bertha was tiny but so very strong and a power house indeed. I'm so sorry reading the news of her passing and my condolences to her long time friends from both Standford Jr. High and Sac High, and her family.

I saw Bertha at church on Wednesday April 3 we greeted one another, and agreed that we would go out for lunch. Little did we know, that it would never be. Bertha and I often talked via telephone, we kept each other posted on community activities, and Sac High alumni functions; she attended several alumni functions. I will miss Bretha's presence here on earth.
