Vicki & I remember Mike very well. He was always friendly and outgoing. I met him at Marshall School in fourth grade. I remember he was in Pop Warner football and always great at sports.
Mike was a great classmate and a very talented athlete. One vivid personal memory: I had dreams of playing first base on the school baseball team. I tried out, found out that Mike and Sean Padovan were also trying out for first baseman and quickly realized my chances were not good. The coaches agreed and I went back to playing trombone in the band for the rest of my time in high school.
Mike was indeed a handsome and friendly "tall drink of water!" He was involved in so many sports and was most popular with both guys and girls. For so long, we hoped he would join us at a Reunion, but it was never to be. I was so sorry to learn he passed and though it was last year, there are never deadlines to convey condolences to his family and friends (now and from long ago).
