I knew Kris from about 2nd grade on. We used to go to the river and catch polliwogs and lizards.

I am very sorry to hear the news about Kris. All the kids in River Park knew him very well and, of course, through our years at Caleb Greenwood School he was the tallest boy in our class.  He was quite famous for his Father's snake collection that we all wanted to see and know more about!  My most vivid memory was when Kris brought his blue snake to school in a cage for our 6th Grade Class to see!  While, we were all outside after lunch the kids needed a kickball ball on the playground, so, I volunteered to go back into Mrs. Trotter's classroom to get the kickball, ONLY to see Kris's blue snake crawling loose on the floor!! I screamed Like nothing I can remember!  Fortunately, Kris was able to catch the snake and return it to the cage!  Kris will be missed by many and I send my condolences to his family and close friends.  Susan 🙏

I'm so sorry to hear about Kris. My condolences to his family. We all had so much fun catching polliwogs by the little league field.

Very sad to hear about Kris.  I knew he was in poor health, but was not aware he was failing.  We enjoyed working with him on the Reunion Committee and appreciated his outspokenness and his help as photographer at the 45th reunion.  I remember him from high school and, I think, Kit Carson.  You will be missed, Kris.  Your loved ones are in our prayers.
