The other day, we lost a very dear classmate to cancer.  Connie was such a joy to be around.  She would have you laughing with her great sense of humor and you believed everything she had to say.  She was so convinceing.  This is a sad time for us, Connie will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved her.  Many condolences to her family.  Connie will always be in the hearts of her classmates.

My best friend in school, I miss you so much, I met her my 1st day at Sacramento High School and we had so much fun growing up, going down town to Mel's Drive-in and cruising around ,going to the 1st McDonalds and hanging out because we thought the cooks were cute, going to Folsom Lake and looking at all the boy's , Connie would burn and I would tan but never get in the water. When I would come over and pick her up to go somewhere it would take her so long to put her eyebrows on , 45 minutes each and we never had any money for gas so we ran out of gas 17 times one year, so many things I could say about Connie , we will all miss her .......Kari

I've attempted to write something about Connie so many other times however broke down crying with each attempt. Connie was a dear friend for so many years. At one point Connie, Bonnie Butler and hung out together and as usual with Connie's sense of humor, she called us Connie, Bonnie and Vonnie. We were the three muskateer's doing everything together and living so close to each other, we hung out almost everyday. When I moved out of Sacramento around 1971 or so, we lost touch with each other but years later, God brought us back together. I'm so grateful He did because Connie and I were able to rekindle a friendship that was so real and honest. I miss her very much, her sense of humor, her willingness to talk about anything and everything. When she was first diagnosed with cancer, our relationship became very spiritual. We spent a lot of time talking, praying, reminiscing and praying some more. I will cherish my relationship with her for the rest of my life. I miss you dear friend. XO
